All services offered are for private members of Forever Young Movements, a ministry of Serenity’s Haven church, a private ministerial association. All classes and sessions are available by donation only, all going to Serenity’s Haven church and ministries. Continuing to use this site, you agree to membership for the day. Written membership agreements are available upon request.
I offer Mind Shifting sessions, Restorative Exercise personal training sessions, and group Restorative Exercise classes, keeping your whole, dynamic self in mind.
Mind Shifting
This is one tool that can aid us in resolving conflicts, working on internal problems, and shifting our perceptions of situations or events that may be causing us distress. A series of questions, cycled through until you feel fully resolved about the original problem, help your mind and body unwind in sometimes wonderfully transformative ways. I would love to serve you as you work towards healing and wellness, from the inside, out, with this modality!
Healthy Movement Foundations
If you are ready to do challenging, rewarding work for and within your body and are interested in personal sessions, I offer this tailored course (6 sessions over 12 weeks). That will look like:
1) schedule a 20 minute Consultation Skype session with me, to go over your vision and to see if we think we will work well with one another.
2) your first 50 minute session – that starts with evaluating how you currently move and rest and also getting you moving with Foundational movements.
3) a 5 week course that is created just for you, to deepen your knowledge of your body, how it feels to move as you have and from alignment, and help you be more mindful of your movement from now through the rest of your life.
4) when your Foundations session are over, you will then begin receiving 8 weeks of weekly follow-up encouragement, short videos, and reflective prompts.
Classes
I offer a variety of local-only 50 minute classes on Friday. From feet to head, we work with all of the body!
In November 2024, the current Friday outdoor classes I have opened are:
~ Learning to Walk – Rather than a series of falling forward, learn to walk from strength, stability, and suppleness through your feet, knees and hips! (2pm Central)
~ Healthy Pelvis – Want to avoid pelvic floor disorders or restore your body back to health and wellness? This 50 minute class examines how the pelvis and ribcage work together and gets you moving healthier and safer now! (3pm Central)
~ Pregnancy, Birth, and Beyond – Are you seeking a healthier, more dynamic pregnancy and birth? This is a class focused on making your body more supple and strong, preparing specifically for the labor ahead! (4pm Central)
~ Emotional Connections – We are holistic beings! Mind, body, spirit, all playing with and for one another. If we repress emotions, our body keeps that score and gives us signs to help us be alerted. This class explores through dynamic, aligned movement, some of the ways we can address the whole self! (5pm Central)

~ Dynamic Parenting – Talking about and learning to move ourselves and our family with health and vitality – through body alignment and moving more, together.
~ Happy Feet – Learn how you can avoid bunions, flat feet, foot pain, and more, in this 50 minute class!
~ Upper Body Glory – Designed to begin using your upper body more dynamically while gaining stability, strength, and suppleness, this class is one that reaches areas most of us are lacking use in, within Westernized communities!
~ Aging Powerfully – Becoming mindful of movement patterns, adapting our bodies for more active movements, learning to prevent injuries, and overcoming long-term movement habits that create deformation to our tissues and bones.
Personal sessions can be in-person if you are local to Manhattan, Kansas or over Signal if you are not local.
